WHAT IS SHAYNE PTA?
 
We are an non-profit organization made up of parents, teachers, and administrators dedicated to supporting the students, teachers and staff through programs, family events, volunteer work, and teacher support.  We are always striving to provide the students with the best possible learning environment.
 
 
WHAT DOES THE PTA DO?
 
We raise money through ongoing fundraising programs throughout the year to assist teachers in providing some of the supplies and materials needed to enhance their students' learning experience. 

 
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE ITEMS THE PTA HAS
      PURCHASED IN THE PAST?
 
 
    • Elmos and projectors
    • Laptop computer charging/storage cart with 26 laptops and protective sleeves
    • Instructional materials for classrooms
    • Materials for Specials programs (P.E. equipment, art supplies, music supplies/equipment, and Spanish supplies)
    • Playground equipment 
    • School community events (Family Movie Nights, Family Math and Literacy Nights, etc.)
    • Annual Field Day
    • Teacher/staff appreciation activities
    • End of the Year certificates and achievement tags
